The Nittany Laser Modular Reach Arm (MRA) is a rugged, versatile laser welding and cladding attachment designed for use with powder, wire, or hotwire laser cladding. The compact modular design makes it possible to reach many areas that are inaccessible with standard cladding tools. The AM clad arm can be used with a Nittany Laser clad head or with most OD cladding tools made by other manufacturers. The compact water-cooled copper nozzles are designed for use with heads up to 8 kw and the sintered gas diffusers provide excellent shied gas coverage. The modular design makes configuring the arm for difficult-to-reach areas easy. The arm includes micro adjustments in 2 axes to fine-tune the filler material placement and center it precisely in the laser melt pool.
